We are seeking donations to enable us to give FREE vegetable shares to two local food aid organisations.

Feeding Coventry is based in Foleshill, Coventry and Shine Community Hub in Rugby serves households in New Bilton, Long Lawford, Bilton, Cawston and Overslade.

Feeding Coventry is a small charity with a big ambition - to make sure no one goes hungry. We provide a social supermarket at our community centre in Foleshill where anyone experiencing the hardships of the cost of living can choose from our wide range of fresh produce for as little as £5 - this is a place where choice, dignity and care are at the heart of what we do. We pride ourselves on making high quality, nutritious food available to all and have recently opened our Garden Kitchen Cafe where kids eat free. We run activities in the school holidays for children and families and activities all year round for people to come together, eat good food, connect and make new friendships.

Shine Community Hub ensures that struggling households have the opportunity to receive a free fresh fruit and vegetable hamper each week. What began as a handful of food parcels has grown to around 50 hamper deliveries a week. Struggling households can get in touch with us to request a hamper and we also take referrals from a number of local agencies. Our local Trussel Trust Foodbank will point their clients in our direction too.

As a community organisation ourselves, we believe that healthy, local, nourishing food should be available to all, irrespective of circumstances and we would like to make a continuous and regular donation of organic vegetables to help the Feeding Coventry project and all the people and families which it serves.

This is where you can help!

A small donation of just £5 per month from just TEN people will enable us to start donating a weekly amount of our amazing, organic vegetables to families whose household budgets often mean the best food, freshest, healthiest food is out of reach.

Just SEVEN people chipping in £10 a month would provide even more free vegetables every week of the year.

But let’s not stop there! The more support we get, the more food we can donate!
